The Friends of the Arts are hosting  the second annual Light  Up The Arts Christmas Party.  The party will be held on December 11^,  at 6:00  p.m. at the Orange Beach Arts Center. Everyone is invite to come!  Enjoy the music of Top Hat and Jackie while you watch the Boat Parade pass down the Intercoastal Waterway.  Wine and chili will also be available for you to enjoy.  No charge.  You can purchase a glass made in The Hot Shop and then the Friends will fill it with the beverage of your choice and enjoy the food. 

A live auction by the Coastal Auction Company will be a part of the evening’s festivities.  First edition hand blown pieces made by our resident artist Joe Hobbs will be auctioned off at Light Up the Arts.  This beautiful line of blown glass been designed exclusively for the Orange Beach Arts Center and will only be available through the OBAC. Paintings and handicrafts by local artists and gifts from local merchants and restaurants will be up for auction. 

 

The Art Center’s Gallery will be aglow with exhibits of Pamela Standridge Allen, glass from The Hot Shop artists and our exhibiting artists.  Many of these artists will be here for you to meet.  Rose Brueske, a harpist, will fill the gallery air with beautiful Christmas music.  Get ready for a great opportunity to purchase some unique Christmas gifts.
